TESTING DAY video

Over 85% of the vehicle has to be built from scratch by team members each year. Procedures like using SolidWorks and 3D CAD softwares for design, welding and cutting tubes do take a significant amount of time, but not every process can be completed in the workshop.

Just like the F1 winter testing before each season starts, having the driver sit in the cockpit for long-distance testing is crucial for success at Formula SAE competitions both before and after the car is fully built and ready to race. As the nature of the competition becomes more and more technically demanding, every hour spent on data collection and drivers' feedback is time well spent.
